We invite you to partner with our 8th annual multicultural community arts and entertainment festival. MuslimFest 2011 is to be held on Saturday, July 23st and Sunday, July 24th at the brand new Mississauga Celebration Square.
Voted as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals by Festivals and Events Ontario for the fourth year, MuslimFest 2011 is expected to attract over 10,000 attendees, 250 volunteers, and 50 artists. Considering the diversity of the attendees and the uniqueness of our program, MuslimFest wishes to support an array of businesses and organizations.
We are moving the festival outdoors to the brand new Mississauga Celebration Square. Location preference will be given to businesses and organizations sponsoring MuslimFest 2011. The remaining spaces will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis 4 weeks before the event. Sponsors booths start at $1,200 and include some amazing marketing bonuses during and after MuslimFest. Spaces are very limited. We have sold out our bazaar months in advance the past 4 years.
Many businesses have approached us already for Bazaar space before the release of this package, which tells us that we can count on our community’s support to put together this unique effort.
As part of the guidelines for the new venue, all vendors’ applications will have to be approved by the city of Mississauga. For this reason, our deadline has changed. Also, all vendors and sponsors are required to have a valid insurance certificate for the duration of the festival naming the City of Mississauga and DawaNet Canada as additional insured.
If you are interested in taking advantage of this exciting partnership with MuslimFest, please submit the following no later than Friday, (We have extended our deadline till Friday June 24th, 2011:May 20th, 2011:
- Completed application form
City of Mississauga application form- Signed terms and conditions form
- Proof of Insurance with City of Mississauga and Festive Currents as additional insured.
- Vendor fee for bazaar space (cheques will have to be cashed before spots are confirmed).
