Mushaira Urdu Poetry

Whether you read or write poetry Urdu poetry or just like listening to some, you are invited to the 2nd annual poetic symposium featuring dozens of renowned Urdu poets from the Greater Toronto Area.

A Mushaira is a beloved part of the Pakistani-Indian culture and it is greatly admired by participants as a forum for free self-expression. Drawing on a classical tradition that dates back at least 500 years to the Indian Muslim rulers, Mushaira brings together the best of Urdu poets in the region.

Come experience a lively night of rich poetry and rhymes of Urdu!
