Inspired by the Qur'an
MuslimFest 2007’s Art Exhibit was “Inspired by the Qur’an”. Artists were encouraged to create pieces from a theme from the Qur’an.
The exhibit featured 16 talented artists from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
The Exhibit also featured the work of the internationally acclaimed photographer Peter Sanders sponsored by the British Consulate General - Toronto.
The World Heritage Project also presented pieces from around the Muslim world.
The exhibit was crowned by the display of the work of Hajji Noor from China with work merging the Chinese scripts and Arabic Calligraphy.
