Dream Team

A group of youth come together every year to bring MuslimFest to life. Through dedication and hard work the event is assembled piece by piece.

So, one wonders what makes the MuslimFest team so dreamy and unique?

Well, being a summer festival, MuslimFest attracts a diverse group of volunteers.

Some of us were born and raised in Canada, while others migrated from countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Bangladesh, India, Syria, and Palestine. Some are recent migrants, while others have been in Canada for 10 years..

Some of us are recent University graduates; some are still in University. Most of us are still in High school.

Those of us who are in University, or recently graduated, come from various educational backgrounds including: Marketing, Communication, Business Management, Medicine, Law, Cultural Studies, Philosophy, Journalism, and Engineering.

Some think of themselves as conservatives, others as liberals. Most of us decline to label ourselves! Hence, its obvious that our diverse MuslimFest team represents a microcosm of the Canadian Mosaic

Exciting isn’t it? Drop by the event and say Salaam to our coordinators at the event and thank them for all the hard work they are putting in the event. I would truly appreciate it.
